Christmas Break Weekly

Hello Roadrunners,

I can’t believe this week is over and it’s Christmas Break!! The students finished their final project on Wednesday, ending the quarter with painting. They got to choose between 6 famous painters than choose 1 of their paintings to recreate. Either it was their own type of way or exactly like the painting. They incorporated many elements of art and principles of design in their works throughout the quarter. I can’t get over how much the students improved. So ask your son or daughter to show you their pieces of art! In next quarter all of the students need to have a Mix Media 9×12 book for the quarter. They will be diving into learning typography and graphic design. They will be designing their own fonts which should be lots of fun!
